THURSDAY 7th NOVEMBER OFF CAMPUS WORKSHOP 

Learning Places – Learning beyond the school gate: What is the potential of shared spaces and civic spaces for learning and citizenship?

Will Titley & Diarmaid Lawlor, Edinburgh Napier University & Architecture and Design Scotland, Scotland

The workshop will discuss where does learning take place? Based upon the premise that the setting for learning is an important factor in the achievement of learning. That if we put the child at the heart of this question it re-shapes how we think about utilising, using and designing urban places.

* Please note that the workshop will take place off campus at Fumbally Exchange, 5 Dame Lane, Dublin, D2

Cumulus Dublin 2013 draft Conference timetable

A draft timetable will be posted shortly.Meanwhile in order to plan your trip, the timetable is provisionally agreed as follows:

Thursday 7th November

2.00 p.m. - Cumulus Board Meeting. 
Registration will start at 4.00 p.m on Thursday in NCAD
Campus tours will take place during the registration period
The IDI Awards and Exhibition opening will take place from 6.00 p.m. in NCAD

Friday 8th November

Late registration will commence at 8.30 a.m. in the Smock Alley Theatre Venue
The formal launch of the conference will take place from 9.00 a.m.
All papers will be delivered on Friday

Saturday 9th November

All workshops will be delivered on Saturday in NCAD
The conference will close at approximately 6.00 p.m.
